We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy DAF Dealership in a new role within the Sales Department as an HGV Driver Trainer.
The ideal candidate will be competent as both a professional driver and as a trainer, or at least have the right attributes and a willingness to develop into the role. Duties will include
- New vehicle and demonstration vehicle handover, collection and delivery of customers vehicles
- In cab familiarisation to ensure driver understanding
- Driver Training for fuel economy & safety, telematics interpretation and general troubleshooter
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar environment, have a C+E Licence, minimum of 3 years regular HGV driving experience, good coaching/teaching skills and an understanding of modern HGV design and operation. A formal training plan with the manufacturer is available for this position
