Position: Procurement Manager
Location: Surrey
Salary: £60000 - £65000 per annum

A well-known Financial Services company is looking for a driven, dynamic and fast paced Procurement professional to manage their strategic supplier relationships and act as a Partner to the business providing specialist knowledge and support. You will be instrumental in helping to formulate and implement the commercial strategy. You will be responsible for the management of contracts, projects and categories for both direct and indirect spend.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead management of the commercial relationships with suppliers across £220+ million spend, working with procurement and the wider business for all contracts.
* Develop innovative commercial SLAs.
* Ensure that suppliers comply with all requirements and that the appropriate checks and balances to ensure correct payment are in place.
* Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate dialogue regarding contractual performance.
* Ensure Procurement is engaged and governance is followed for new spend and/or where legal terms are changed under the contract.
* Engage Procurement at regular intervals to obtain financial and performance data from market sources and, with Procurement, escalates commercial and financial risks and issues.
* Identify and documents key relationships and sets structure and schedules for operational supplier review meetings.

Key Skills:

* Degree educated
* CIPS
* A strong understanding of Procurement and Vendor management with at least 5-10 years' experience
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Strong people management experience
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Diligent in completion of tasks and projects
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
