A Claims Administrator is required to work within the Claims Department liaising with insured clients, brokers, intermediaries, internal and external consultants to ensure all claims are handled within agreed SLA's providing first line telephone support to ensure that all calls are correctly answered, re routed, recorded and dealt with in a professional, consistent and efficient manner to improve the customer experience. To oversee and coordinate the daily incoming post and outgoing claims post.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible as a team member and in support of the Claims Manager to:
- uphold and act in accordance to the company vision, mission and values
- achieve the departmental objectives and KPIs
- to personally act in the best interest of the company.
Role Responsibilities
Working within the Claims Department and CII framework of ethics, assisting the Claims Manager and Assistant Claims Manager in running and overseeing the day to day handling of all claims within the agreed SLA's:
- First line telephone support answering calls and directing to the correct person within the Claims Department.
- Issuing of all new claim form requests
- Arrange the outgoing Claims Department post and parcels.
- Scan in and log the daily Claims Department post
- Set up all new claims that are received either via email, or post
- Archiving claims files when required
- Requesting updates as per the Claims Department diary reminders
- Other administration duties as required
