Outreach Project Worker - Brighton
£20,456 - £23,935 pa (pro-rata)
37.5hrs per week
Our client is seeking an Outreach Project Worker to join their Outreach service in Brighton and Hove. Their highly committed Street Outreach Service is the key agency for rough sleepers in the city offering an assertive street outreach service to those sleeping on the streets. You will be working with colleagues, the local authorities and partner agencies; to ensure clients are supported off the streets quickly and aided to sustain housing and effective health treatment.
This work is carried out within a multi-agency case management framework and will involve street based and community outreach, working flexibly during the day and night to best engage rough sleepers.
To be successful, you will have experience working effectively with rough sleepers or other client groups with multiple needs. You will also have an understanding of how homelessness occurs and the health, housing and other challenges associated with it. Other essential requirements include the ability to team work and to initiate and maintain effective working relationships with clients, the community and other external agencies.
