National Sales Manager

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to lead and develop a sales team within an established and growing training provider.

Sales Manager £50k - £55k + commission + benefits package

Home based with extensive national travel

The Role

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the product and services portfolio of the business to maximise revenue, margin and profitability with responsibility for:

• Managing day-to-day performance of all sales team members
• Translating the company's vision / pledge / values to create a high performing team
• Work with Marketing to ensure a consistent lead generation plan is in place
• Implementing performance plans for the sales team
• Collaborating with IT (or third party suppliers) on sales technology initiatives
• Recruiting and retaining high-performing team members

The Company

Our client is national provider of work based training, the 6th largest training provider in England, with over 4000 learners currently engaged in learning programmes. They offer intermediate and advanced Apprenticeships and have the additional ability to offer bespoke training with training programmes delivered by qualified and experienced industry professionals.

The Person

The ideal National Sales Manager will have previous sales management experience within a high growth company and be able to demonstrate managerial / team building skills. You will be target driven with the ability to develop and deliver plans to reach your targets, overcoming any barriers with a positive and responsive mind-set. Using your excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to motivate the sales team, generating ideas to deliver the company's objectives.
