Large accredited practice wants Family and Child Law Solicitor.

A large Legal 500, Lexcel practice accredited for its quality in conveyancing, children and family law. The firm has practices across the South East of England and provides professional high quality legal services, with expertise across a range of legal areas. The thriving practice has experts with both civil and criminal higher court rights. The company are seeking an experienced solicitor to join their busy family and child law department.

THE ROLE
A family and child law solicitor is required to join the practice on a full-time 12-month contract with possibilities of extending this to permanent employment. You will be holding your own caseload and providing advocacy support to the department. The role will cover a variety of cases involving case conferences, court representation, negotiating, adoption cases, divorce cases, maintenance applications and custody disagreements. This position is based in the practices' head office although within the role it may be required to work its other offices within London and Essex.

THE CANDIDATE
You must be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE.
You must have experience in family and child law and advocacy experience in Family legal aid work.
It would be desirable to have children or family panel membership.
You must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively, delivering a high levels of client care.
