The Foundation Learning department at our clients College in Southampton is looking for an experienced teacher to work with young people aged 16-19. You will have a relevant qualification at level 4 or above and teaching experience.

City Horizons specialises in working with learners with BESD and/or SEND challenges therefore experience in a similar field would be a benefit. Managing and defusing challenging behaviours is essential. As is the ability to engage NEET young people. CCS has excellent facilities that support highly imaginative and innovative approaches to teaching, learning and assessment of our students.

The hourly rate as advertised is a range within the band and your appointment will be based upon your skills, experience and qualifications. Hours of work for this role are flexible and not guaranteed. You are free to accept or decline offers of work and the Corporation is under no obligation to offer you engagements or re-engagement. The hourly rate includes an enhancement for annual leave and lesson preparation / marking.
