Digital Marketing Executive (part time 22 hours pw)

Our client is searching for a part time Digital Marketer who wants flexible working hours and can manage web sites, SEO, Social Media, Content Marketing, Email marketing and PPC.

Our client provides Colleges, Councils and Local Enterprise Partnerships with world class cloud based solutions that help reduce the skills gaps in local labour markets as well as manage the growing demand for apprenticeships.

Through strong relationships with Microsoft, the Department for Education and Burning Glass Technologies they are helping to improve employment and career prospects for young people across England.

The Role

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will work with the Managing Director and Business Development team to develop, improve and optimise the web site, drive inbound marketing, manage social media and deliver captivating content across all digital channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing updates and improvements on the web site (WordPress)
  • Managing SEO and PPC
  • Planning and driving the blog, Twitter and LinkedIn activity
  • Ensuring that the wider team is engaged with the social content
  • Being a point of reference for CRM (Salesforce)
  • Building and refreshing target lists and updating data
  • Producing monthly summary reports on all digital marketing activity
  • Building, executing and monitoring digital newsletters and email campaigns
  • Creating a catalogue of testimonials and case studies from clients
  • Managing the production of any printed/digital collateral required

 

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate for this Digital Marketing Executive role will have:

  • A degree or diploma in marketing or digital marketing, a CIM qualification or the equivalent work experience
  • At least 18 months digital marketing experience
  • Experience in the use of Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • A good understanding of content and inbound marketing
  • Good commercial awareness to write clear, high quality and topical content
  • A blend of strong analytical, creative and written skills
  • Basic PPC and CRM skills
  • Self-motivated, able to execute against an agreed plan without close supervision
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Previous experience of MailChimp would be useful
