This globally known and respected manufacturer has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Forecast and Demand Planner to join their business on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave.

You will be responsible for maintaining, reviewing and developing effective short, medium and long term forecasts and capacity planning models to deliver the best possible organisational efficiency across all areas of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
Be the lead role in the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle and interrogate, validate and present data from across the business to provide insight into variances of live forecast against financial corporate plans to Senior Management and the Executive Board.

The development, management and maintenance of capacity measurement tools to inform the business of future industrial manning levels and machine requirements. Outputs from this process will also be presented to Senior Managers and the Executive Board within the S&OP cycle.

Responsible for liaising with Sales, Marketing, and Operational areas to maximise effectiveness of campaigns and maintain service levels and profitability by ensuring appropriate levels of stock are available

Responsible for managing, prioritising and allocating available stock to specific B2C and wholesale orders.

Essential criteria:
- Extensive forecasting experience and a thorough understanding of forecasting principles.
- A full understanding and experience of capacity planning principles.
- Demonstrable experience of analysing and presenting business critical information to business leaders
- Experience with core software applications including: Maginus, ODP Forecasting and Microsoft AX (or other ERP/MRP systems).
