Caretaker

The Royal School for the Blind, Liverpool offers educational placements for children with visual impairments and moderate to severe learning disabilities.  Placements at the school are for both day and residential children. 

It is the aim of the School to provide the highest educational and care opportunities for all our children.

• Dates: Apply by Friday 9th September, Job to commence ASAP 
• Salary: NJC Pt 11 – 14 (£15,507 - £16,481)
• Location: Church Road North, Wavertree, Liverpool
• Contract type: Full Time
• Contract term: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint a responsible candidate, ideally with previous caretaking experience and/or excellent DIY skills. You will have a flexible outlook and a personable manner and the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. You should have a high standard of workmanship and ability to work proactively and with initiative. An understanding of health & safety with regards to this role would be advantageous.

A requirement of this post is the ability to work weekends.
