DESIGNER & COPYWRITER, PRINT & WEB - PART TIME
Hours: Up to 0.6 FTE, flexible
Salary: Up to £25,000 pro rata, DOE

We are a small membership organisation in the charity/health sector looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a flair for print/web design, partnered with excellent written communication skills, to help us further develop our educational, public relations and marketing activities.
Background:
The Royal College of Chiropractors (RCC) is a professional membership organisation and a registered charity. We provide a wide range of membership resources and services and, since our launch in 1999, have been running the national postgraduate training scheme for new chiropractic graduates and providing a UK-wide programme of educational events for established chiropractors. We actively promote and support high standards of education, practice and research, enabling chiropractors to provide, and to be recognised for providing, high quality care for patients.
Duties and responsibilities:
Working closely with a senior staff member, and playing an important part in developing our communication strategy, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Development of promotional leaflets, reports, banners and presentations for internal and external audiences
- Digital newsletter production including commissioning, layout/design and distribution
- Design and upload of online learning materials
- Advising on and creating engaging website and social media content
- Helping to fully establish our house style
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- EITHER extensive, relevant, in-house experience OR a degree in a design or IT-related discipline
- Proven web and print layout/design skills
- A good understanding of social media engagement
- Proficiency with relevant software such as Adobe InDesign or MS Publisher, Photoshop or GIMP and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong editing and proof-reading skills
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in writing copy
- Versitility, self-motivation and a friendly, helpful persona
