  • Are you looking for a new challenge to support KS1 & 2 pupils at a Good Estyn school in Wrexham?
  • Are you interested in becoming a member of a school team within a bright, attractive and welcoming primary school?
  • Are able to inspire and engage young people?

Randstad are recruiting in Partnership with a Primary School in Wrexham which provides a lovely learning environment.
We are seeking KS1 and/or KS2 Teachers to provide cover across year groups, ideally to float from Reception to Year 6 or within year groups where your strength lies.

This position is to work in a bright, attractive and welcoming primary school which serves the needs of the local town. It is a smaller than average primary school with mixed age group classes. It is a highly commended school with awards which include Basic Skills Quality Mark.
The school has a strong sense of community and a culture of improvement in which everyone has high expectations and works hard to develop the whole child. Equally it has high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement.

You will be a teacher who can deliver cross curricular plans that follow a broad and balanced creative curriculum. You will also be able to deliver Quality First Teaching to provide all pupils with the very best in education. Due to the extensive school grounds a teacher with a passion for utilising outdoor learning opportunities and leading a healthy lifestyle would be of interest.

The position will require you to carry out the complete role of a classroom teacher including delivering un-set work, marking following the schools policy, leaving the classroom tidy at the end of the day and a detailed hand over note for the returning teacher.

In order to be considered for this teaching job, you will need to:
- Hold recognised UK teaching qualifications
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students
- Be well organised and be able to plan effectively
- Be adaptable to cope with any situation
- Committed to meeting the individual needs of every child
- The desire to create a happy and secure environment
- NQTs welcome!
