Geography Teacher

Geography needed in Secondary Schools in Manchester & Salford! Apply immediately!

We are constantly recruiting Geography teachers on behalf of schools in the Manchester & Salford areas. Assignments range from Maternity leave to last minute sickness cover on a day to day basis.

For the last 8 years, the Manchester Secondary team have been repeatedly approached for support in Humanities Departments of schools in Salford, Eccles, Irlam and Manchester. The schools operate clear expectations for all staff and all students with a transparent discipline and rewards system.

We are looking for Qualified Teachers Status for day to day assignments who can offer:

• Availability and ready to accept bookings for that morning
• That every assignment will be treated as if it is a permanent role, injecting a sense of purpose into the classroom and helping he schools to the best of your ability
• Professional relationships to both pupils and staff
• Effective classroom management in line with schools behaviour policy
• Excellent pupil progress results and value added student achievement
• Proven experience of teaching AQA, OCR or Edexel KS4 syllabus
• The ability to get to schools in Manchester & Salford within 30 minutes of early morning notification
• Be free 5 days a week for up to 3 months to ensure continuity;
• All candidates must be either NQT or have Qualified Teacher Status.

Salary range: £475-£700 per week pre 12 week agency work regulation, dependent on references and depth of experience.
