Teaching Assistant required for a Secondary School in Accrington

If you answer yes to these questions then this is job for you! I am currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support on a child on a 1 to 1 basis in a secondary school in Accrington.

This position is to work with a child with additional needs assisting them across a number of different subjects with emphasis on developing their behaviour, interpersonal skills and social inclusion. You will be directly responsible for the development of this pupil on their educational journey reporting directly to the special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO)

The school provides a very warm, friendly, caring, and family atmosphere, in which each child is challenged to achieve their personal best. Ofsted described the school as a happy, positive place with well motivated staff and thriving pupils.

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has worked with children with behavioural needs on either a 1 to 1 or group basis. Ideally you will have a Level 3 qualification but this is not essential.
