Position:Insight Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40000 - £60000 per annum Plus benefits

Our company client is building a team of insight analysts who will play a pivotal role in defining how data analytics are used to influence business decisions. As part of their growth plans they are actively looking to select a dynamic and driven Insight Manager who enjoys using data to answer questions and likes to use his inquisitive mind for outside the box problem solving. The successful candidate will join the firm's data analytics function and wil contribute to the business operations in order to make it more proactive and less reactive.This is an excellent opportunity for career development.
Leading the insight team, the new Insight Manager will play an instrumental role in significantly improving the profitability of the company through the delivery of a number of key pieces of analysis, reports and recommendations to the business. He will also play an integral role in the designing of the target operating model.
Main duties for this job:
* Providing a comprehensive management information, analytics and business modelling service to contribute to the cost effectiveness of the business
* Identifying trends and highlighting problem areas in order to make recommendations to improve business performance
* Using advanced mathematical and analytical methods to help the business solve problems and make better decisions
* Engaging with the operational and BI teams, working collaboratively and presenting findings
Qualifications and skills set:
* A degree with mathematical or statistical content or equivalent
* A high level of accuracy, analysis and presentation
* Excellent communications skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
* The ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
* Experience handling large sets of complex data and drawing out meaningful insights through SAS, R and/or Python
* An understanding of computer modelling techniques such as machine learning, statistical modelling, experiment design or optimisation
