Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employer Account Manager to join GPSTL based in Hull.

GPSTL is a wholly owned subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation.  GP Strategies trades on the New York Stock Exchange as GPX.  Founded in 1966, with a world-wide staff of 1700 professionals, GP Strategies is one of the largest consultancy and training providers in the world and has provided training support in over 70 countries. GP Strategies has been trading in the UK since 1997, and its UK acquisitions have been trading since 1972. Our core business is training and development.

As an Employer Account Manager your duties and responsibilities will be:

• The development of new and progressive business through GPSTL’s existing employer accounts including the recruitment of apprentices in one or more designated regions.
• Ensuring the achievement of the required apprentice starts (targets), in line with individual Sales personnel and any contractual expectations. 
• Establishing excellent Employer customer relationships with all the Employers and ensuring total customer satisfaction and repeat business.

An ideal Employer Account Manager will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Good standard of secondary education
• Demonstrable relevant business development experience
• Health and Safety Qualification
• Good administrative skills
• Must be computer literate
• Excellent telephone and personal communication skills
• Good networking skills
• Car owner / driver
• Well presented

Desirable requirements:

• Business / Marketing Qualification / Degree
• Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
• Basic Skills Award
• Extensive relevant sector experience
• Previous NVQ / QCF experience
• Microsoft Office / other DTA
• Labour market knowledge
• Knowledge in key market sector
• Proven experience
• Full clean licence
