We look forward to hearing from candidates who want to play a crucial part in enabling the further development of the award-winning Wales Institute for Work- based Learning, and its innovative bilingual Professional Practice Framework.

The Institute delivers high quality modules from level 4 to Professional Doctorate, and works with employers to accredit their staff development programmes.

We are seeking an inspirational leader of the Institute, to expand its work across Wales, the UK and internationally, and to increase commercial provision.

You will have recent experience of the strategic delivery of higher-level work-based learning in an HE environment, and have significant experience with working with a range of private, public and third sector employers. A PhD/Professional Doctorate is strongly preferred as is a strong publication record in the field of work-based learning.

Excellent communication skills are required to deal with a wide range of partners at all levels.
