Trainee Site Engineer

IMERYS the world leader in mineral-based specialties for industry, is recruiting for the following position based in mid Cornwall:

Trainee Site Engineer (ref: 11616)

For the right candidate this opportunity provides extensive training and development towards the role of Site Engineer within the Mining function over a 3 year period.

Applications are welcome from those who have:

• Completed an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent and have proven industrial engineering experience.
• Either attained HNC in Engineering or be willing and able to attain it.
• A high level of self-motivation, aptitude and commitment to want to develop in this role and undertake the training required.
• Flexibility to work in different areas within the operations as required and have the ability to work to demanding and changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, be a strong team player and have the ability to lead others.
• Good IT skills

Although the role would be day shift (Monday to Friday), it may be necessary to spend some time on shifts to fulfil the training programme.
