Deputy Extra Care Operations Manager

Deputy Operations Manager - Extra Care - Sandwell/Walsall Area - GBP38k per annum + car allowance

We are expanding our quality care services and are now looking to recruit an experienced senior manager who can assist and support the Operations Manager within our Extra care schemes within the Sandwell and Walsall area.

Ideally you will have a solid background working in a Management capacity where you have the experience of overseeing a multi-site operation either within Extra care or Domiciliary Care. You will need to have achieved your level 5 or RMA or equivalent, be a car owner/driver and have good knowledge of the above area and already have good relationships with care managers, NHS services, external agencies and have excellent knowledge of the CQC regs and care standards. You will need to be an approachable, friendly and professional confident manager who has a positive, enthusiastic approach to your job and who has experience of working to budgets, has excellent IT skills and good business development experience.

You role will include staff recruitment, staff supervisions and appraisals, staff disciplinaries and grievances. You will also need experience with TUPE, Housing management, customer service and have strong leadership skills.

You will also carry out performance reviews; work closely with the Operations Manager regarding the development of new services and the mobilisation of new services.
