Our client is looking to appoint a number of Residential Social Care Workers to join them at their residential services in Stockport, Bolton and Macclesfield.

Working as part of a residential care team, the Residential Social Care Worker will provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health and social needs and rights of young individuals.

They are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and outgoing individuals who have a level of maturity, Sense of humour, skills and interests which can be utilised to engage with the young people. You must have experience of working in a residential setting and have previously undertaken the full range of duties in a way which respects and values the young people as individuals.

With the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, you will either hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (CCYP) or equivalent or be willing to achieve this within timescales set by our client.

A current clean driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable but not essential.

Our client provides a range of social care, special education, community support and consultancy services in the North West of England. The charity is one of the North West’s largest providers of residential homes for children from short-term emergency care to long-term placements. Their fostering service provides family placements in the North West and neighbouring regions.

You must be 21 years of age to be considered for this role due to the Ofsted regulations that stipulate staff must be a minimum of 3 years older than the potential oldest child in the house.
