We currently have a vacancy for a Consultant Engineer - Requirements Specialist at our sites in either Frimley or Weymouth.

As a Consultant Engineer - Requirements Specialist, you will be responsible for Submarine Combat Systems operability assessments.
This role will provide an opportunity to work in a high- profile role within Combat Systems - dealing with new technology and systems. You will have an opportunity to develop your skills further and progress within the company.

Your main responsibilities as a Consultant Engineer - Requirements Specialist will involve:

Conducting Submarine Combat Systems operability assessments
Supporting the Combat Systems Design Leads
Translating submarine operations into requirements and design briefs
Interfacing with key customers
Managing capabilities - running tests & trials

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:
Knowledge of submarine Combat Systems operations
Strong experience of requirements definition
Background in Engineering

Desirable:
Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
Experience of any aspect of naval Combat Systems design, integration and support
Knowledge of Command and Control, Navigation, Underwater Sensors, Above Water Sensors, Communications or Weapons
Systems Design experience gained from delivery of other complex military systems demanding mission, security and safety critical functionality
