LOCATION: Moulton, Spalding


JOB TITLE: Evening Carer


SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP7.75 per hour in the week, GBP8.00 per hour at the weekend, pension + uniform provided



WORKING HOURS: 4.00pm - 10.00pm on a rota basis to include alternate weekends.

Contracted hours are 22.5 hours per week.



THE COMPANY: Our client is a residential care home based in Moulton, Spalding who offer the tranquil benefits of village life. They provide support that is tailored to the individual needs for their 26 residents. They are seeking enthusiastic, trustworthy, compassionate and motivated Evening Carers to join their friendly team. In return my client offers excellent progression opportunities which includes the Care Certificate, leading to the opportunity to gain level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or further qualifications if the NVQ level 2 has already been obtained.



THE ROLE: For the role of the Evening Carer you will deliver a high quality service of care to their residents. You will assist in the delivery of support and care for residents to enable them to live as independently as possible. This will meet the Palliative Care needs of the individual and emotional support to family and friends.



Key Responsibilities for the Evening Carer role to include:-
  • To support patients with managing their daily activities
  • Personal care
  • Nutritional and fluid needs of the individual
  • Supporting emotional needs
  • Record keeping

THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Evening Carer you will be a reliable and flexible team player. You will be friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator. You share the company's goal of delivering excellent care to the residents and you will need to live within a commutable distance to Moulton, Spalding.



Key experience essential for the role of Evening Carer :-
  • Experience of working within a care environment is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent health and social certificate is advantageous
