Forward Planning and Performance Officer - Leyland, Lancashire

Progress Housing Group is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Forward Planning and Performance team.

As Forward Planning and Performance Officer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive system for the collection and management of stock condition data.

You will monitor and manage the stock condition reviews of the Group's property stock to establish the physical nature/condition of key elements, critical dimensions, thermal ratings and compliance/non-compliance with the HHSRS and any other relevant standards.

You will assist with the analysis of a wide range of statistical, technical and performance reports in the development and application of investment scenarios,to develop clear option appraisals for the short medium and long term life of individual properties.

Monitoring the effect of responsive repairs in association with planned, cyclical and programmed work to ensure a cost effective overall service, you will provide regular management reports and provide technical updates to ensure informed decisions are taken.

You will be responsible for providing statistical information and regulatory returns for Property Services, for example, the Regulatory and Statistical Return. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.

Knowledge of current building policy and practice is desirable, including:

• Decent Homes Standard
• Best Practice in stock condition surveys/refreshment strategies
• Housing Health and Safety Ratings
• Asbestos Regulations

Effective time management is essential for this role as is the need for flexibility and self-motivation in order to juggle a varied and broad workload, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
