Machine Operator / Machine Minder

Machine Operators / Machine Minders (x2), Wrexham, Clwyd, North Wales

We are recruiting for Machine Minders / Machine Operators on behalf of a leading Food Manufacturing Company based in Wrexham, Wales.

The Role:

• Start-ups and shutdowns of sealing machines
• Conducting changeovers to different products
• Repairing machine tools
• Repairing machine faults
• Adjusting settings
• Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance

The Ideal Candidate:

• Punctual and Reliable
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Problem solving on using own initiative
• Basic understanding of machines
• Good communication skills
• Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage
• Flexible

Hours of Work:

One position is working on a 4 on 4 off basis. 2 days (6am-6pm) and 2 nights (6pm-6am).

The other position will be a day position (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday.

Overtime available on both

Salary:

Days - £7.20 starting pay

Shift - £7.70 starting pay
