Great Homer Street Medical Centre, Everton, Liverpool is looking for a full time Practice Nurse
Hours: 37.5 Full Time/Job Share/Flexible.
Grade: The right candidate may be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or an experienced Practice Nurse.
Salary Band: Dependent on Training and Experience (Band 5-7)

Great Homer Street Medical Centre is an inner city training practice with 2500 patients. It has GP Registrars, Foundation Year 2 Doctors and 5 th Year Medical Students. It performs very well against the KPIs including QOF and the GP Specification. The Medical Centre manages several enhanced services including Share Care Drug Misuse and Zero Tolerance Patients. It is based at Mere Lane Health Centre, a large, new, purpose built premises.

We require a Nurse with a good understanding of General Practice, able to manage long term conditions and undertake screening and immunisations, a caring nature, the capacity to teach and the ability to work with challenging patients. They will also need strong interpersonal and organisational skills. The right person may need further training which can be arranged.

The role includes Clinical practice, Leadership, Team working, Risk Management Infection Control and Use of IT. The Computer system is Emis Web.
