Based in Darlington, this IT company has been a technology partner for businesses since 1998. Through their multi-tier team they have significant experience of directing, managing, supporting and delivering strategic technology solutions, support and advice to businesses.
They are seeking motivated individuals to sell technology (IT and Communications) solutions to clients through regular account management. In addition the role will involve generation of new accounts through identifying and prospecting companies which would benefit from their services.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Relationship Management:
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and unique challenges.
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
Sales Generation:
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process that is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
- Presenting the product or service in a structured professional way face to face.
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
Lead Generation:
- Identifying new account opportunities, cold calling to arrange meetings with a view to prospecting for new business.
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
- Representing the organisation through networking, trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
The ideal candidate would have experience of delivering or selling Telephony and Communications or associated technologies within the SME market, be well presented and have good communication skills. A driving licence is essential.
Salary / Benefits Package:-
- Basic package of £25,000 including mobile phone.
- Uncapped sales commission paid offering an achievable OTE above £50k per annum.
