JOB TITLE: Registered General Nurse
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £14.50 per hour, plus a joining bonus scheme.
WORKING HOURS: 44 hours per week
THE COMPANY: Our client is a 40 bed Care Home based in Rawtenstall, Lancashire, who provide high quality residential and nursing care 24 hours a day. They provide care to residents with varying needs, from specialist nursing support to general assistance with everyday living. They also offer respite care to give home carers a much needed break. The home has a relaxed feel and they strive to ensure they provide specialist care to every resident, by getting to know each person as an individual and understanding what they need. They currently have an opportunity for a Registered General Nurse to join their friendly team.
THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered General Nurse to join a friendly and welcoming organisation based in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. You will be responsible for delivering and overseeing the care provided to residents, ensuring this is of a high standard and person centred, to meet the individual needs of the residents.
Key Responsibilities of the Registered General Nurse to include:-

Delivering and overseeing person centred care provided to residents

Nurse in charge on shift; leading a team of care staff

Reviewing and updating care plans to meet residents individual needs

Overseeing all aspects of medicine management

Liaising with families and other health care professionals
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Registered General Nurse position will be RGN qualified. You will be caring, approachable and compassionate by nature with excellent communication skills. You will have a real desire and ability to provide excellent care, whilst providing residents with a warm and reassuring ‘home’ environment.
