Position Overview
The objective of this role is to utilise all printing presses to achieve the highest possible quality with maximum output and minimum waste.

Working 12 hour shifts on a 24/7 metropolitan shift rota

This role encompasses the following functions:-

Job Functions

- Knowledge of procedures for printing department
- The ability to fault find and problem solve on press
- Good colour matching skills - understanding of anilox / ink film weight relationship, colour density and pigmentation.
- Have a good knowledge on the use of additives, where and when to use them
- Thorough understanding of quality procedures
- Good die cutting skills
- Wide knowledge of various substrates and how to convert them
- Some mechanical skills, basic routine maintenance
- Ability to clean UV lamp heads and change UV lamps
- Adhere to the company's uniform and hygiene regulations at all times
- Efficient and effective use of time and materials.
- Maintaining Health and Safety within department.
- Maintain a clean and efficient department.
