Job Elements: -

• Recruitment - undertaking all stages of the recruitment process, to include:
o Drafting person specifications, job descriptions and adverts
o Placing adverts
o Liaising and negotiating with agencies
o Conducting interviews and assisting with the selection process
• Giving advice and guidance to line managers and department heads in relation to HR policies and procedures; performance management etc.
• Advise, coordinate and where appropriate take a lead role in grievance or disciplinary procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

• The successful candidate will have extensive recruitment experience. They will have taken the lead in all aspects of the recruitment process for a wide variety of roles.
• Able to translate a job description to an advert and person specification and manage the short-listing process.
• Experience of volume recruiting and recruiting at a technical level is required.
• Experience of undertaking formal meetings up to and including dismissals.
• An understanding of employment legislation and how this translates into the work place is required.
• Excellent IT skills, ideally to include HR systems, are required coupled with effective and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
