Position: Financial Accountant
Location: Berkshire
Job Type: Full time
Our company client is a leading FTSE Listed FS organisation who is now looking to select a number of Financial Accountants for their Group Accounting team based in Berkshire, due to rapid growth of the business following a Finance Transformation Project.This is a unique opportunity to work within an entrepreneurial environment and to join the business at such an exciting time of significant development.
Key responsibilities for this job will cover:
* Production of financial information to support production of IFRS results, statutory accounts, SII results and QRTs
* Assisting with quarterly reporting and month end close process
* Being the main point of contact for external auditors
* Carrying out accounting controls and processes to ensure information produced is timely and accurate
* Supporting and reviewing work of other team members
The successful candidate should possess the following skill set and experience:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with at least 12 months' PQE experience
* Previous experience within audit and financial controls advantageous
* Previous experience working within insurance/financial services highly preferential
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Good team player
