The company provides Direct Marketing services to a wide range of business sectors. Established for over 30 years, the company is a small, yet dynamic business with quality and customer service at the heart of all it does. A key part of the company's day to day work is data processing, printing and systems development, and this role will be central to those processes.

The IT department is central to the company's success, and there are very few projects which do not involve the input of the IT department in one way or other. This role is crucial to the smooth running of the IT department, and integral to the business.

The role would suit a skilled and motivated IT graduate who wants to enhance their technical skills and learn a new trade. It is also a job that requires logical and lateral thinking to solve problems and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail is a critical aspect of the job; therefore evidence of this ability will give any potential applicant a clear advantage. Any previous experience in a commercial, production or manufacturing environment would be desirable.

General Duties:
- Import, analyse and process client data using a range of Microsoft Office applications, such as Access, Excel, and Word, as well as a range of industry specific applications.
- Set up client data for its intended purpose - often complex mail merging and addressing.
- Set up and run the departments laser printers; ensuring quality control standards are met at all times. Simple maintenance procedures are also required, such as changing consumables.
- Ensuring stock for the department is maintained and reordered, when necessary.
- Assist and help troubleshoot any IT related problems users may have and be a point of contact for the company's outsourced IT support, where more serious problems occur.
- Liaise with production, through meetings and Account Management, and provide continuous, timely feedback as to the stage of production that jobs are in. Keep the scheduling software up to date, with relevant information.
- Produce and manage email broadcasts for clients email campaigns
- Help maintain and update the company website.
- Liaise directly with clients, and communicate technical information in a clear, concise manner by phone and email.

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- To be able to input information correctly and accurately.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite - 2007, 2010 and/or 2013
- Availability and willingness to work overtime, when necessary
- To liaise and update other departments with information needed to carry out daily procedures
- Develop HTML/Dreamweaver and Photoshop skills
