Our client is a full service print and packaging supplier with state-of-the-art prepress, press, and finishing technologies. Their heritage is in the spirits, healthcare, confectionary, beauty, and consumer brands, and we have a proven track record of customer focus, creative ideas, technical innovation and manufacturing excellence.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join their team based in Newcastle reporting to the HR Manager.
Supporting the HR Manager in the delivery of the of the plan, increasing employee engagement on site and work towards the creation of high performance teams. Providing leadership, direction and support in all aspects of generalist HR related matters at our Newcastle site whilst providing support the labels site at Bristol.
Actively contributing to development of the function as a strategic business partner, you will provide advice to line managers on generalist HR issues. Supporting the site with change management programmed and continuous improvement activities, you will be responsible for the completion of the KPI reporting for Newcastle and Bristol. Maintaining knowledge of employment legislation and best practice alongside supporting Department Managers through the recruitment and selection process, developing and delivering induction programmes for new starters. Ensuring the implementation of the performance management process, the successful candidate will co-ordinate learning & development activities. Supporting the development and implementation of Entry Level Programmes such as Apprenticeships and Graduate Development, you will review current HR processes in order to improve efficiency whilst providing effective HR administration.
Educated to degree level in Human Resources, you will ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards this. With good knowledge of UK/ European Employment Law you will have experience of working in an HR department with a high level of customer focus. Candidates for this position will possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and debate issues in a constructive manner.
