This is an opportunity to join a leading web and mobile development agency near Hungerford, Berkshire, offering new opportunities based on increasing demand for their services. They are commutable from surrounding towns including Swindon, Marlborough, Newbury, Andover, Basingstoke and along the M4 corridor.

They are a passionate, ambitious, growing company building websites for over 30+ creative agencies and direct clients across the South of England. They enjoy what they do and they care about the results. They don't operate a long hours culture but they expect their staff to do their bit when the deadlines approach.

Due to expansion they are currently recruiting for a Graduate/Junior - Midweight PHP Web Developer.

Salary:
- Negotiable, depending on skills and experience.

Desirable characteristics:
- Able to work alone, willing to "own" your projects, nice client facing manner. Team participant. Good sense of humour! Enjoy working in a rural location. Have own transport.

Skills:
- Experience of PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL, at least one CMS - WordPress, Drupal, Expression Engine.

Any of the following would also be advantageous:
- .Net (C#), Laravel, Magento, BootstrapJS, AngularJS, familiarity with Photoshop, any CRM, LAMP stack components.

The role:
- Working as part of a team but often on solo projects, you will be working on an ever-changing roster of projects from WordPress builds through bespoke PHP applications.
- You will be expected to help plan/design your solutions and to be able to keep track of your own progress and report issues to your project manager.
- You will be supported by numerous roles including solution architect, QA Analyst, project manager and production co-ordinator.
- You will also be expected to contribute to the work of their support desk in keeping their clients happy by solving their web site issues.
- A sense of responsibility for the projects that you are working on and the ability to reflect this through your work is key to your success here.
- If you are junior they will provide on the job training and plenty of support to ensure that you will grow rapidly to become a fully-fledged web developer.
