Our company client is a leading global Insurance business who is actively looking to appoint a talented Digital Optimisation Specialist to focus on both UX and Conversion Rate Optimisation and join their highly skilled team based in Surrey. The successful candidate will play an integral part in the continued optimisation and improvement of their existing and new digital channels. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team whilst offering both technical development and business interaction.

Job summary and key responsibilities:

* This is a new role within the Digital Customer Experience function, and has a remit that also spans into Customer Experience, UX, and Design.
* The new Digital Optimisation Specialist will support the Conversion Rate Optimisation roadmap to help create an industry leading digital first proposition, with truly best in class User Experience / UX.
* Will help drive sales and deliver maximum ROI from the growing Digital Customer Experience function.
* Will be responsible for helping drive improvements in Conversion Rate Optimisation for both new & existing channels, and will also work closely with the Digital Product team, UX team, Front End developers, and the wider Digital / Marketing function
* The new Digital Optimisation Specialist will play an integral part of developing the Conversion Rate Optimisation Roadmap, scheduling tests, and making recommendations to the wider Digital stakeholders.

Experience and abilities required for this role will involve:

* A strong understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation and Digital Analytics
* Considerable experience with UX testing across multiple devices
* Excellent working knowledge of tools such as Site Catalyst, Optimizely, SessionCam, as well as Google Analytics would be an advantage
* Evidence of a disciplined approach to optimisation and evaluation - e.g. setting clear objectives and measuring success
* Proven track record of improving Conversion Rate Optimisation
* Deep understanding of Digital Customer Experience
* Experience of running and updating customer facing websites
* Evidence of working on optimisation on cross channel campaigns

Main skills:

* Strong A/B and MVT testing skills
* A passion for learning and keeping up to date with the latest trends in both digital and marketing
* Strong communications skills, an innovative thinker and very commercially astute
* A good understanding of data and analytics across the online and offline world would be very useful
