Level 2 Hairdressing Apprenticeship - Great Lengths

If you are looking for a future career in Hairdressing, Great Lengths Hair Studio are recruiting for an Apprentice to join their team at their Coppull salon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the general upkeep of the salon, answering the telephone and reception duties. You will have some cleaning responsibilities and be expected to make refreshments for clients. You will start with shampooing then move onto all other Level 2 units. You will need to be a good listener, diplomatic and understanding. You must show a keen interest in all areas and be committed to progressing.

The Apprenticeship training for this vacancy will be provided by Runshaw College. As this is a funded Apprenticeship programme it is not open to candidates who have already achieved a qualification at Level 4 or above.

Skills Required

The suitable candidate must be able to work as part of a team and conduct him/herself in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

Must have 4 GCSEs at grade D or above including English and Maths and be able to work towards Functional Skills at Level 1.

Personal Qualities

Must be confident, happy and chatty. Must be motivated and interested in all aspects of Hairdressing.

Progression/Prospects

The ideal candidate will be encouraged to progress to a Level 3 Apprenticeship within the salon, if there is a suitable vacancy at the time.
