Community Safety Development Officer (3 posts)
£23,166 to £26,556

The Safe Neighbourhoods programme was established in 2007 to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour and improve confidence in neighbourhoods. These posts will help deliver this important work in key areas with council housing.

You will work with a wide range of partners, including Northumbria Police, Your Homes Newcastle, Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, probation services and other organisations such as businesses and voluntary sector partners, to problem solve local issues.

We are seeking individuals with the knowledge, commitment and motivation to deliver community safety in our neighbourhoods for all our communities.

You must have experience of work in community safety, safeguarding, or neighbourhood work. Good communication skills and experience of partnership working are also required.
