HGV Class 1 Driver / Drag Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver - £29,000 + Benefits - Telford, Shropshire

Applications from Class 2 drivers will be considered and training will be provided to achieve Class 1

Epwin Group Window Systems Division in Telford urgently required a HGV1 Wagon and Drag Driver.

Duties:

• Driving a curtain sided vehicle delivering and collecting 6m Upvc / steel /aluminium bar length in Stillages to and from various sites nationwide
• Driving a 'straight bar' draw bar for which experience is desirable
• Moffet work will be required and training will be provided  
• All loads are either on pallets or stillage's however there may be a small element of handballing

The role of  HGV1 Wagon and Drag Driver:

• The salary for this position is circa 29k
• Your start time will be 5am working Monday to Friday and you will be expected to work an average 48 hour week.
• You will be contracted to 2 to 3 nights out per week of which you will be paid an overnight allowance
