They are currently looking to recruit for a Sales Support Coordinator to increase, support & coordinate sales activities for the defined Territory / Business Field - based in the South Wales Region.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Enquiry Process
To process Customer Enquiries / Prepare Customer offers in conjunction with the Sales Development Team / Sales Manager.
Activities / tasks include but are not limited to:
- Product definition / interpretation of customer requirements
- (with the support of the Sales Development Team / Sales Manager and/or the Engineering team)
- Preparation of cost estimates / pricing calculations using available tools
(with the support of the Sales Development Team / Sales Manager and/or the Purchasing team)
- Calculation / estimation of typical / delivery specific lead time using available data and tools (with the support of the Sales Development Team, MRP Source Controller / MRP Controller Production)
- Follow up of offers made by agreement with the Sales Development Team / Sales Manager establishing a final disposition including reason for acceptance or rejection of the offer.
- Maintenance of the appropriate databases (CRM System / Enquiry Database)
SAP Order / Data Processing
To process SAP Customer Orders, maintain SAP master data and carry out document archiving.
Office Administration / Filing
The SSC will accurately file & maintain all data retained in electronic & hard copy formats.
Sales Generation
In conjunction with the Sales Development Team and under guidance of the Sales Manager the SSC is responsible for identification / researching / contact / realisation of business with prospective new customers.
Account Management
In conjunction with the Sales Development Team and as defined by the Sales Manager the SSC will over a period become responsible for account management of a to be agreed list of customers.
Reporting / Meetings
The SSC will actively support the Sales Development Team & Sales Managers to provide appropriate weekly / monthly statistics / narrative relevant to the defined reporting period. Furthermore the SSC shall familiarise themselves with and understand the departmental KPI's, strategic objectives and where required actively participate in planned & ad-hoc meetings / discussions.
Customer Visits
The SSC will on an as required basis participate in customer meetings, both in house and at customer sites.
Training
The SSC will on an as required basis actively participate in training sessions. Training may take place at the SSC's normal place of work, other Company site or third party site.
General Responsibilities
Health & Safety
To personally operate within the health & safety guidelines of the Company and to ensure that any visitors under your control suitable protected and cared for whilst on our premises (fire drills, safety clothing / glasses etc, etc)
