Summary

Trinity Mirror plc is seeking a talented Copywriter to join our award-winning Creative team. Reporting to the Head of Creative Services, you will be responsible for writing and editing work to a given brief across a variety of media.

You'll need to be comfortable with a variety of writing styles, including advertorials, editorial features, interviews, social media content, slogans and strap lines, advertising campaigns and corporate literature.



Package

Trinity Mirror plc has a strong benefits package which includes, for this role, a base salary of £20,568.00 per annum (depending on experience), 33 days holidays including Bank holidays, a competitive pension along with an extensive flexible benefits portfolio. As this role requires regular travel, you will need to have a driving license.

Main Responsibilities

In order to succeed in this role you will:

*A relevant degree and/or journalism qualification

* The ability to produce punchy, effective and influential copy for a variety of purposes

*A natural flair for original ideas and creative thinking

* Meticulous proof-reading skills & attention to detail

* Experience of working in publishing or a similar media environment

*Experience of page design, using Adobe Indesign or similar would be a distinct advantage
