Production assistant

So what does the work involve?  

There are many different roles that you will be required to carry out which can include (but are not exclusive to the following).

You will be assisting in the manufacturing of bespoke furniture:

- carrying timber or wooden frames,

- unloading/ loading wagons,

-palletising,

- supporting Skilled operators,

- collecting materials from a stores room to give to assemblers
- packing bespoke furniture ready for dispatch.  

Person specification
You will need to use your own initiative, be flexible with adapting to new roles and skills.

What is the working environment like ?   It is a very busy, fast paced environment. Its very clean and spacious and music is played throughout the day. The canteen provides FREE tea and coffee.  

What are the hours?

The normal total hours worked per week are 39 hours. Overtimes available.

Hours of work are

Night shift: Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday from 6pm - 6am and Thursdays - 6pm until 10:30pm.

Day shift: Monday - Thursday 7.30am- 4.30 pm and Friday 7.30am - 12.30  pm

Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm and Friday 6am till 11am.
