Sociology Teacher - Manchester
£100 - £160 per day
Starting 8th September 2016 on an ongoing basis

We are seeking an experienced Sociology Teacher for a college within the Manchester area.

Responsibilities:
- Teaching Sociology up to KS5
- Driving performance within the classroom
- Ensuring targets are met and exceeded
- Managing behaviour within the classroom
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
- Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events
- Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations
Requirements:
- PGCE certification or equivalent
- Excellent organisational skills
- An ability to promote effective teaching and learning
- Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility
