Our client has identified opportunities for experienced Care Assistants to join their care home in Stourbridge.
There are two positions available for Care Assistants to work 30 hours per week (day shifts) and a further position for 30 hours per week (night shifts)
The role:
As Care Assistant you must be a dynamic individual where your remit will include:
• Assisting in the day to day management and running of the home care services meal times, welcoming visitors, personal care of clients and ensuring all communal areas are immaculate
• Providing support to the Senior Care Assistant on duty
• Ensuring all policies, paperwork and records are submitted as required
• Following all policies and procedures set by the care home
• Providing written reports of all incidents, complaints, enquiries etc.
• Ensuring that the day to day care services are operated in accordance with the relevant Health & Safety legislation
What you need:
• NVQ Level 2 qualification experience
• Dementia experience essential
• Experience to working under pressure and have the ability to work well within this environment
• Empathetic individual who holds great interpersonal skills
