Lead ISO 27001 Consultant - UK Wide

This company is the leading vendor independent information security consultancy and IT security managed service provider (MSSP) in the UK. They are profitable, and have achieved impressive organic growth every year since they established in 2000. As part of this growth, they are now looking for an experienced ISO 27001 consultant to lead engagements, and contribute to the development of this important client service.

They currently consult in a number of areas of information security, Testing (both technical and social engineering), PCI DSS, and ISO 27001. You should have extensive consulting experience in ISO 27001, and the potential and interest to contribute to at least one other of these areas.

They expect all their consultants to be CISM/CISSP qualified as a minimum. If you do not have this qualification, you will be expected to pass the exam within your first 3-months of employment.

Your communication skills, written, oral, and listening, must be first class. Any authoring of articles/papers etc, and presentation experience will be an advantage. Your time-management skills should also be excellent.

Your role will involve extensive work on client sites, primarily across the UK but not exclusively so. You can be based anywhere in the UK mainland. This is not a contracting role, and therefore you will rarely be in one location for more than a single week, so enjoyment of travel is a bonus.

Their employee benefits package includes company pension scheme, private healthcare, expenses for all client site activities, and a car allowance (current driving license and access to a suitable car is a requirement).

Salary: £45,000 to £70,000 p.a. including car allowance (or company car) and utilisation bonuses, depending on skills and experience.
