HOURS : 37 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Better Futures Cymru Service, which provides assessment and longer term intervention services for children and young people with sexualised histories across Wales, including young people who have been the victims of sexual abuse; young people who display problematic/Harmful Sexual Behaviour; and young people who are at risk of or are abused through Child Sexual Exploitation.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable practitioner who has an extensive track record of undertaking assessments and also delivering individually tailored programmes, of therapeutic intervention with young people aged 5- 18 years of age. This role requires that you have had previous experience of working within a complex child protection environment and a firm understanding of related polices and legislation. You will be required to attend a range of multi disciplinary meetings, where you will offer specialist advice, support and consultation services to other professionals. The successful applicant will be based at the main office in Pyle, Bridgend however there will be extensive travel across the South Wales area.
