We are looking for a proactive and dependable individual to join our Outreach and Engagement department as a Welsh Support Coordinator.

The role of the Welsh Support Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Stimulating Physics Network Wales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support for the Stimulating Physics Network Wales
  • Supporting the work of the other SPN Project Coordinators, the SPN Project Manager, National Officer for Wales and other colleagues
  • Managing own workload effectively and autonomously
  • Working to deadlines

About you

We are looking for a team player who has the ability to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be highly organised and efficient with good communication skills. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and data-management systems. You should have experience working with data and presenting reports in a professional manner. You will be a driven person who is dedicated to delivering results while maintaining an excellent customer focus.

Some desirable attributes of the successful candidates include having experience of event organisation, administration and/or developing data-management systems. A knowledge of the Welsh language would also be beneficial.

Salary: £21,500 – £22,575
Hours: 21 hours per week (0.6 fte)
Contract: Fixed term until 28 February 2017.
