We are delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll Assisting for our client who are based in central Bristol. This is working within the HR team but working very closely with the finance team and you will be involved with the full payrolls cycle. For this role our client is looking for someone with xperience of working on a payroll with 500 plus employees and knowledge of salary exchange and flexible benefits. On top of this experience of Midland HR iTrent payroll system or similar payroll system would be beneficial. Excel skills including use of formulas, v lookups and pivot tables. Experience of auto enrolment and pensions. Responsibilities with this role will include: To process joiners, leavers and all other payroll entries. Process the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Paternity Pay schemes and overtime. Apply tax codes and student loans. Process flexible benefits elements, preparing payments and balancing with monthly invoices. Assist in the administration of the company pension scheme and auto enrolment requirements. Process P11D's and P60's annually. Set up and report to HMRC annually figures and emoluments for PAYE settlement agreement. Run and distribute payslips electronically and send out P45s for leavers. Provide advice to staff and managers in relation to pay, taxation and National Insurance and deal with any other payroll queries. Producing accurate and concise reports. Comply with HMRC reporting requirement including RTI. Prepare payroll costing journals for the finance Team. Prepare on time payments to HMRC for PAYE. For this role our client is seeking someone with experience of using iTrent.
