POWER SUPPLY APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

This Applications Engineer position will provide support to the Northern European Sales and Engineering teams, reporting to the Engineering Manager.  The position is at our European headquarters in Pangbourne, Berkshire.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Proven experience within a power supply environment
• Ability to help to resolve complex power supply application issues
• Knowledge of all aspects of both conducted and radiated EMC
• Ability to discuss competently with customers at all levels, to ensure satisfactory outcomes
• Knowledge of worldwide safety, EMC and environmental approvals
• Experience of digital communication technologies, such as I²C would be an advantage

Qualifications

• The candidate is expected to have a degree in Electronic Engineering, or an HNC with relevant experience

Knowledge & Abilities

• Experience of power supply topologies
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and schedules
• Knowledge of test equipment relevant to power supply testing (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, AC sources, EMC equipment)
• Ability to work alone, or in a team
