Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist
Salary: £18k-£25k + bonus (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30am-5pm (37.5hrs/week)
Location: Cardiff, CF11 8JQ

Our client is looking for an experienced E-commerce Marketplace Specialist to join their small, dynamic team in their Cardiff headquarters.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record with extensive experience of E-commerce marketplaces;
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies;
  • Ability to process and analyse data;
  • Excellent written skills and attention to detail;
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work under own initiative and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Enthusiastic work ethic and commitment to support business growth;
  • Knowledge of digital advertising preferred.

Duties:

  • Create and manage product listings on Amazon and eBay;
  • Optimise customer experience both pre- and post-sale;
  • Write engaging product descriptions and work with the Creative Director to create image and video assets;
  • Analyse sales data and forecast product demand;
  • Manage and optimise customer reviews;
  • Liaise with marketplace support to maintain optimal account and listing status;
  • Respond to marketplace customer support enquiries and work with the customer services department to process warranty requests;
  • Identify infringing listings and follow necessary procedures for reporting to marketplace support;
  • Research product trends and popular marketplace categories to identify new revenue opportunities;
  • Assist Marketing Director with platform advertising management and optimization;
  • Platform-specific keyword and SEO optimization;
  • Supply-chain management of international marketplace accounts;
  • Occassional out-of-hours and weekend work required;
  • Report directly to the CEO.
