Design Technology Technician

Technology Technician Required for Blackburn School.

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Design Technology Technician for a large secondary school based in the Blackburn area. The role will require someone to start at the end of September for a term, possibly extending into the next term.

The role will require support predominantly in the resistant materials department, but may be required to cover on occasion in Graphics, Food and Art. You will be required to prepare for practical lessons, support teaching staff and students in class with the use of band saws, circular saws, various drills and other materials. You will also ensure that Health and Safety requirements are met under the direction of the school.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a school technology department, as well as any relevant certificates and Health and Safety qualifications.
