RANDSTAD Education urgently require a PMLD teacher to work with students aged 11-19 who have Learning Difficulties and other complex Cognitive, Developmental, Social & Emotional, Sensory, Physical and Health needs.
Due to changing circumstances, a local PMLD setting is looking to recruit a Classroom Teacher with the right personality, attitude, and motivation to work in a specialist PMLD setting. In addition to candidates with PMLD experience, we would be interested to receive applications from NQ or experienced teachers, with a Primary or Secondary background, with or without Special School experience. However, you will need to show a deep understanding of SEN in general, and a self-evident passion in particular, for working with students who have extremely low functioning learning difficulties and other associated complex needs. In addition you will need to demonstrate a committed, resilient, inspirational, solution focussed approach to getting the very best out of every student, alongside confidence and competence teaching English/literacy and Maths/numeracy.
For the right candidate, working with our students is a fulfilling and often inspiring role, so if you have a highly motivated personality, with an open minded positive outlook, a ?can do? attitude, a passionate desire to help children succeed, this could be just the role that you are looking for.
We welcome applications from any suitably qualified person, with the caveat that our starting point for appointing is that you are, or are capable of becoming, an outstanding teacher, and that you exhibit shed loads of motivational, creative, inspirational, enthusiasm.
In order to be considered for this post, you will need to:

? Have a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum (PMLD P1 to P8)
? Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students
? Be well organised and be able to plan effectively Be adaptable to cope with any situation

? If you feel that you have these qualities and that this role is something that you would like to be considered for then please either e-mail your CV to Karl Lucas at BESS via our website or contact the office directly by phone for a chat.
